In exchange for 5 to 6 hours of work per day, 5 to 6 days per week, a volunteer will be given both food and lodging. “WWOOFing”, as the work-exchange is typically called, is an excellent way to experience rural life at its fullest, learn the basics of organic farming, while meeting new people, both travelers and locals alike.

I’m not from here. Like a lot of people, I’m from somewhere else. I’m an immigrant and like a lot of my friends growing up I always had a desire to go home.
