Welcome Day 1 TORONTO or MONTREAL- CAIRO
Depart from Toronto or Montreal on your Air France flights to Paris and Cairo.

Day 2 CAIRO
Arrive in Cairo. Assistance from our local representative and transfer to the
SOFITEL LE SPHINX.

Day 3 CAIRO
Breakfast. Today is the day you’ve been waiting for! Visit the magnificent
pyramids of Giza and admire the 60 meter long Sphinx. Afterwards, visit the
site of Memphis, the oldest capital of Egypt and Sakkara, with its step
pyramid. (B-L)

Day 4 CAIRO - ASWAN
Transfer to the airport and flight to Aswan. Arrive in Aswan and transfer to the
port to board your 4 night Nile cruise. In the afternoon sail around
Elephantine Island, by felucca, for a view of the Agha Khan Mausoleum.
Dinner and overnight on board. (B-L-D)

Day 5 CRUISE: ASWAN - KOM OMBO - EDFU
After breakfast visit the High Dam: impressive by its dimensions, the dam is
among the most spectacular civil work of our century. In the afternoon visit
the Temple of Philae (goddess of fertility). The temple is dedicated to Isis and
is preserved thanks to the construction of the dam. In the afternoon sail to
Kom Ombo. Upon arrival visit the only temple in Egypt dedicated to two
gods: Sobek with a crocodile head and Haroeris with a falcon head. Return to
the ship and sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board. (B-L-D)

Day 6 CRUISE: EDFU - LUXOR
This morning, visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best preserved
Greco-Roman temples in Egypt. Sail to Luxor. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 7 CRUISE: LUXOR
In the morning sail to the West Bank: the Necropolis of Thebes (Valley of the
Kings), and the temple of Queen Hatchepsout at Deir-El-Bahari, one of the
most remarkable architectural monuments of the New Empire. Continue with
a visit to the Colossus of Memnon, once at the entrance of the Palace of
Amenophis III. Visit the Temples of Karnak and Luxor. In Karnak, admire the
most imposing site of prayer that humanity has ever known. As for Luxor,
this Temple is famous for its immense columns trimmed in papyrus shapes
and is a place of prayer for the god Amon. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 8 LUXOR (END OF CRUISE) - CAIRO
Disembark after breakfast and transfer to Luxor airport for your flight to
Cairo. Arrive and transfer to the RAMSES HILTON. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 9 CAIRO
Visit the National Museum of Egyptian Antiquities housing the world’s most
important collection from the Pharaonic period including the treasures of King
Tut Ankh Amon. Also visit the Citadel built in 1183 by Salah Al Din Al Ayouby
which overlooks the capital from atop the Mokattam Hills and houses many
important buildings such as the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali where a
visit will be made and the Bazaar. (B-L)

Day 10 CAIRO - PARIS
Transfer to the airport for your Air France flight to Paris. Arrive and transfer to
a RELAIS DE PARIS hote. (B)

Day 11 PARIS
Full day at leisure. (B)

Day 12 PARIS – MONTREAL or TORONTO
Transfer to the airport for your Air France flight home (B)
