Free Wedding : Sol Meliá Cuba has designed the Free Weddings program in which, by gathering a minimum number of guests staying at the hotel, the wedding expenses of the couple, including the honeymoon, will be free.
Wedding a la Carte : For your Wedding celebration in Cuba hotels, a wide menu of services is available for you to choose from. The perfect alternative to plan your ceremony starting from a Basic Package of Services and manage them according to your budget, taste and manner. The options are unlimited and also available at any of the Sol Meliá Cuba hotel.
Free Renewal of Vows : Enhance your ceremony with family and friends to capture the romantic moments and reaffirming your love for one another on a beach or in a beautiful gazebo or garden of our hotels and resorts. A Vow Renewal is a wonderful chance to give an anniversary wedding gift.
Renewal of Vows : If you want a romantic place for your Vow Renewal, consider a tropical destination. If you have never been married before, all you need is a passport that is valid throughout your stay in Cuba , and a tourist card (available from a travel agent, airline or the Cuban consulate). If either the bride or groom has been married before, please contact the Cuban Consulate in Toronto or Montreal .

» Once your trip is booked, you must send us the wedding form duly completed so we can go ahead and book your wedding date with the public notary in Cuba . This form must be sent to our Toronto office at least 1 month prior to your departure date along with photocopy of your passports. Please note that weddings can be performed from Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm and that you must be in Cuba a minimum of 3 business days prior to the wedding.
» Bring all your original documents with you. Your marriage will be formalized in the name stated on your passport. Your passport must therefore be correct, and the name on your passport must match that on all your other documents.
» After your wedding, your Marriage Certificate will be prepared as quickly as possible and couriered at the hotel's expense to the home address on your documents. Your marriage is legalized by the Canadian Embassy in Havana and the Cuban Foreign Affairs department.
» Your wedding in Cuba will be held in Spanish and your representative will be there to translate your ceremony into English.
» The names on your birth certificate, passport, affidavit and all other applicable documents must all match each other exactly. For example you should have no middle names missing from your passport. If your documents are incorrect, they can be amended at the Consulate but this will incur a charge and of course this can take away a day of your holiday!
» Unfortunately you cannot take your wedding flowers back to your country, neither can they be freeze dried. You are not allowed to bring flowers from a foreign country into Canada .
» You can bring a cd or tape of your favorite song or choose one from the selection at the hotel. You can also request the video company to edit this song onto the video of your ceremony should you decide to have one. Or you can choose to have musicians at your ceremony and these come highly recommended (extra cost).
